    Harrison Lake Poker Run

    Aug 08 to Aug 10
The Harrison Lake Poker Run is a fun time for boaters to enjoy their friends in a boating game. Collecting cards at five points around the lake (Rainbow Falls, Inkman Island, Cogburn Beach, Doctors Bay, Long Island Bay) the game ends with a banquet where card hands collected are compared to see who has the best poker hand and wins the game. Cash and merchandise prizes are given away. This non-profit society raises money for search and rescue.

      Harrisand 2008

      Sep 02 to Oct 19
Once these amazing sand sculptures are carved and the competition is judged, the sculpture area is open for viewing daily. The World Championships of Sand Sculpture Competition are only open to master sand sculptors, and the prize money is significant, so a visit to this art scene will not be a disappointment. The competition goes for about the first five days and viewing continues for approximately another month. Send an Email Send an Email
